Cat Collecting Club

Privacy

The short version: we collect nothing. Your child's game stays on your device, with a copy in your own iCloud that only you can see.

This covers the Cat Collecting Club app for iPhone and iPad, and this website. Both are made by Not Another Studio Ltd, a small studio in the United Kingdom.

The app

Cat Collecting Club does not collect, store or send any personal information. The only things it ever connects to are Apple's: the App Store, for the club membership (see Purchases below), and your own iCloud, to keep a copy of the game. It needs no internet to play.

The game remembers your child's cats, toys and progress in a small file on the device itself. If the device is signed in to iCloud, it also keeps a copy in your own iCloud, so the game can come back if the app is deleted, or on a new iPhone or iPad. That copy sits in your iCloud account, and we can't see it. Deleting the app deletes the file on the device. Start again in the grown-ups corner clears both the file and the copy in iCloud.

Children

Cat Collecting Club is made for children aged 4 to 8 and is built for the App Store's Kids category, which has the strictest rules on the store. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing to share, sell or ask permission for. That is how we meet children's privacy laws such as COPPA in the US and the UK GDPR and Children's Code.

Anything that leads out of the game, like the links to this website, sits in the grown-ups corner behind a times-table question.

Purchases

The app is free to play. There is one thing to buy: the club membership, a single one-time payment that brings more cats to live with you. There are no subscriptions and nothing else for sale.

Apple's own privacy policy covers what Apple does with your purchase: apple.com/legal/privacy.

This website

No cookies, no analytics and no tracking. The fonts come from this site itself, so nothing here reaches out to Google or anyone else. Like any website, our host (Vercel) keeps short-lived technical logs to keep the site running; we don't use them to find out who you are.

If you write to us through the support form, your name, email and message pass through Formspree, a form service, to our inbox. We use your email only to reply. We don't add you to any list or share it, and we'll delete your message whenever you ask.

Changes and questions

If this ever changes, we'll update this page before the app does. Questions about privacy? Get in touch.
